A designer and a diamond merchant

House of Dhri is a family jewellery house. Vidhi Parikh designs. Her husband sources the diamonds. Every piece is made in our own workshop, under their eyes.

Vidhi Parikh, designer

Vidhi draws every piece we make. Some are her own signature designs. Many start with a client's idea, a photo or a memory.

Her designs often bring clean modern lines together with the detail of Indian craft. When you work with us, you work with her directly. She draws your piece, talks you through it and changes it until it is right.

The diamond side of the house

Vidhi's husband is a diamond merchant. He buys natural and lab grown diamonds directly and checks each one himself.

Buying direct means we can show you more stones side by side, explain plainly how they differ, and keep the price fair.

Our workshop

We do our own job work. Every piece is cast, set and polished in house.

The people who designed your piece and chose its stones are the same people who check it on the bench. Nothing is passed along a chain of strangers.

dhṛ

Why Dhri

Dhri comes from the Sanskrit root dhṛ, which means to hold or to keep. We chose it because the jewellery people keep the longest is usually the jewellery made just for them.

What we care about

  • Your piece, not a catalogue piece

Everything we make is drawn for one person. If you have seen something you like, we will make it yours rather than copy it.

  • Paperwork you can check

Diamond certificates, hallmarked gold and a bill that lists the metal, purity and weight. Nothing you have to take on trust.

  • Made to be worn

Settings that hold, bands that are comfortable and finishes that last. Jewellery is meant to come out of the box.
